This recipe is really a treasure. For years I ate these meatballs at the county fair in my friends old bumper pull camper. One night we did a recipe swap and I made these meatballs for the first time as an adult. It makes enough meatballs for a party or enough to freeze and keep on hand.
If there was ever a dip I could not live without it would be this one. In fact, I could make this a meal. It is the perfect add to any cheese board. It goes right alongside a cabernet wine like they were made to be consumed together.
